"Attention" Deficit" is the debut album from D.C. rapper Wale. Originally scheduled to be released in September, it was pushed back to October as a result of touring with jay-z (damn you sean!)

The first single "Chillin" features that sensation he-woman Lady Gaga. The second single "World Tour" features Jazmine Sullivan (this chick is all over the place, she's also on Snoops new LP). "Word Tour" is a dope spin off of "Award Tour" the Tribe classic. The third single and one of my favorite from the album is "Pretty Girls" which features A-town rep Gucci Mane and Weensey of Backyard Band, a legendary go-go band from the Washington, D.C. area.

Production features Mark Ronson, Cool n Dre, The Neptunes, and many others.

"Mirrors" feat. Bun B (produced by Mark Ronson) dope guitar loop that grows on you..and you can't go wrong with Bun B EVER! Wale n Bun call out the fake dudes/women out there..dope track

"Get Loose" feat. Pharrell (produced by The Neptunes) this is a get loose track for the ladies/clubs BUT at the same time its not corny..cause all the girls really want is fun. beat is dope so it works

"Shades" feat. Chrisette Michele (produced by the BEst Kept Secret n Ju Ju) this has quickly surpassed "Pretty Girls" and become my favorite song on the album..i really don't know why though..Wale raps about growing up darker than others in D.C. and the disadvantage's he faced..the beat is FIRE also and shorty can sing

50 Cent "Before I Self Destruct"

50 cent's latest release "Before I Self Destruct" was supposed to be released in 2007 but 50 decided to release Curtis instead. You might notice "I Get It In", that questionable somewhat catchy song regarding 50's drinking schedule is not on the album..neither is the "Get Up" joint released in late 2008..they didnt make the LP based on release dates.

"Death To My Enemies" is the first track that catches my ear. The beat is hard and so is the message..this is classic 50. I was never a big 50 fan but people always tell me how grizzly he USED to rhyme..well this might be a trip back to the past..he rips this track..bout time you ask me.

"Psycho" feat. Eminem is a typical fck you fck him ima killer crazy rah rah track you could expect featuring Eminem. they both do the sicko rap well so the song works.

"Hold Me Down" is dope..not gonna lie, when i first heard the track i thought it was about chicks but the more i listened i realized it was about 50's love affair with his guns. thats DOPE. conceptual songs from 50?! yeah i guess so..n shits works. dope song.

"Crime Wave" and "Stretch" are classic hood, gangster rap, drug material rap songs. eat your heart out corner boys.

you can go ahead and skip the rest of the LP till the end n the song with R.Kelly when your ridding with your chick..

this is a better album from 50 that i expected..but there are still 4 or 5 skippable tracks

I'm going to swerve my opinion on y'all on some of the recent LP's that have dropped..hope y'all enjoy..this is first

Rakim - "The Seventh Seal"

I have nothing bad to say about the GOD MC and this LP. HipHop fans have waited forever (10 years yo!) for a new project from Rakim so its safe to say we are happy with whatever we get. There are two singles off the project "Holy Are You" and "Walk These Streets" (feat. Maino).

"Holy Are You" features a classic David Axelrod sample that Rakim used to play before he would take the stage at his shows. The beat is OK at best..i guess i always imagined that if someone dared make a beat for Rakim with the sample then it had to be soooo incredibly unbelievably dope..here is a clip from Rakim performing the song (KipCapri on the wheels)

I expected more from Ra..his lyrics are not what lacks..the beats are kinda weak.

What a better way to return than to discuss Parallel Thought's newest release (as i BUMP "Flashback" in the background).

Its about time hiphop fans got a chance to hear these two (TAME n Del) underground legends kick back and forth over some dope production. Finding it funny how many OTHER cats got their styles from these two MC's. Tame makes mention of this, but when you give it a spin you will hear what he means. As hiphop fans we really get lucky here, we get a chance to hear 2 of the most original rappers from opposite coasts spittin together. This is a true hiphop heads fantasy combination (no homo). ALL the production done by Drum n Knowledge of Parallel Thought. Pick this LP up ASAP!!! iTunes, Amazon, Napster, FatBeats, Etc. (GOT MINE AT fye!)

The show ends at 1. It was nice to see Joe Joe Pelligrino aha. Def a dope venue for a hiphop show. A few bars scattered around the club and the stage can be seen from every angle.

Saigon...easily one of the illest up n comming MCs (actor I guess, if you consider being yourself on Entourage actual acting) what bugs me even more is this dude was gettin quality beats from JustBlaze at reduced cost n simply dissapeared.

First I would like to appologize for not being consistent, I have my reasons but I'm back with a Halloween Horror Film rant that's gonna kick your ass.
I'm gonna drop some horror flics, give you opinion, summary, and some advice for optimal viewing pleasure.

and YO, put the cells on vibrate (leave them alone), and really watch these flicks, you have got to get into these movies or it is pointless

Pumpkinhead

Good plot, music, actors. Starts slow but picks up.
Recommend to watch with friends, because its not a movie that you would be upset if you missed some things.
WARNING contrary to what you may want to see, nothing to do with a man with a pumpkin head (big personal let down)
RATING 6/10

The Ring

if you havn't seen this (not many left) pick it up, shut the lights off, lock the doors n prepare to get scared.
Movie feels like a classic even tho it has not been out for long.
Good actors (creepy little boy), strange but great plot, great music.

Recommend to watch with whoever.

HER EYES!! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER EYES?!?

DOPE movie, one of the best horror flicks EVER, it is that good.

People Under The Stairs

Umm, the plot to this movie is scary, but the movie itself and events that take place are far from from it. I actually rented this from Amazon.com and could not be more upset. Granted it stars Ving Rhames (Con Air, Pulp Fiction) and the black kid from Mighty Ducks (called everyone cake eaters) which is pretty awesome, but not enough people die in the movie and the evil characters let me down.

Watch with friends.

Nightmare on Elm Street 1 & 2

1, 2, Freddy coming for you!

Don't sleep on these movies (aha PUN intended!), One of the three best BoogieMan Flicks (Halloween, Friday 13th), but everyone has to sleep, which is why this movie is truly SCARY.

Alright actors (coulda been better), music, and special affects are creepy.

Recommend with small crowd.

Night Of The Living Dead (1968 Original)

There comming to get you Barbara! This black/white movie is one of Romero's best, a ground breaker in zombie flicks. This is how Zombies should be! The acting and camera angles make this movie truly horrifying.

Music is fantastic, acting is ok (black guy kills it), good pace (not slow by any means).

Watch with anyone, pure classic.

Rosemary's Baby

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIS EYES!

The plot makes this movie classic. You do not want to watch this if your planing to have a baby soon (especially with an actor). Movie movies kind of slow but it has its moments.

Good overall old movie.

Watch with your significant other or by yourself.

Halloween (original)

OK, here we go. This is my favorite horror movie EVER, if you know me, you know that by now (i never shut up about it). Seriously though, Michael Myers was the first horror villan to ever walk around during the day! NO ONE was doing that. This fool is THE most bad-ass sociopath.

Out of the 3 major boogie men (Freddy & Jason), Myers is the most horrifying.

Fantastic music (you know what Im talking about!), good acting, great scenes.

Watch alone! DO IT! or with others, great group movie, and THE BEST to watch Halloween Night.

OK OK OK, I know what your thinking "another liquor blog, wtf, why am I reading this, he's just an alcoholic", not true! I am mearley trying to share experience with those who might not get a chance to hear me tell it (muy importante!).

I work (alright intern, whatever) at Fuse (TV Music Network) in NYC (across from MSG). I started in June and about a week after busting my ass on a regular basis I decided to find a pub I could go to, hang out, get a bite, maybe a drink (never while working of course).

O'Reilly's Restaurant & Tavern, (21 W 35th St. New York, NY) found me, I didn't find it.

I tell everyone I know about this bar, Mike treats me and all my friends like royalty, top notch service (much more than I can say about the shitty fuckin bar service in Freehold/Jersey Shore/anywhere else). Beside the fact that dude gives me free 2nd n 3rd drinks, I know I can always get a good conversation (alright and a few free drinks, but whatever, Mike (bartender) knows I can go ANYWHERE else in NYC).

Tuesday, August 19, last week at Fuse.

Me and Jorel (intern/friend of mine at Fuse) head down to O'Rielly's for some lunch. We eat, chill, BS about the olympics and how much snatch Mike Phelps is gonna get. First drink on us (7&7 for me BudLite 4 Jorel), second on Mike (how ill?!). We are about to shove off, Mike says "One for the road?", I say "Alright, but how bout a shot?". "Sure", he says "Jeager?". "Nah", I say, "Whisky man".

I'm thinkin, maybe some Seagram 7, maybe some Jameson, whatever. He pulls down a bottle of this

Johnny Walker GOLD. Never have I ever, and NEVER did I think. Best shot I have ever had, (he tells me its a $20 shot, and I got it for free!! hah). This is now my favorite whisky, shit is soo good, and the story was so ill, I had to jump on.

Next week, August 26th, some friends and I will be going on "Summers Over NYC Bar Crawl 2008" (hit me for info). O'Reilly's will be our first stop, and hopefully our last on the way back. Check this bar out, if you are ever around MSG (all of you are at some point), food and service is above average.

So here's the deal (or maybe you can help me figure out the deal). I'm on vacation (few and far between let me tell you) with my family in Manasquan, NJ at a beach house (shit is 2 ill we are literally on the beach). My pops gives me money to get liquor/beer for the week (little does he know I plan on deading it in a few days). I hit the LQ and grab Malibu (for the ladies/frozen drinks), Tangere (my old man LOVES his gin n tonics, who doesn't?), an assortment of beers, and a bottle of Patron silver.

Now Patron is some gooood shit, much much better than Jose Cuervo (there is nothing wrong with Jose, Patron is just a finer tequila) (this rant deals with patron silver BTW).

We moved in Saturday, August 2nd, and I bring the bottle out when were done. At this point its only my pops, my aunts BF (Dean), my boy Alberto and myself doin work on this bottle. (I'm raving the entire time were moving in about how good this Patron is and how as SOON as we are done we are all taking shots). We finish up and here come the shots (4pm). As soon as we are done all i hear is how GOOD the shit is. We start pounding shots like we are getting paid for it. One after another, now mind you I have a hockey game at 9 that night, (yeah I play hockey, goalie, and I'm nasty so holler at me).

We down the bottle in record time and are at the LQ spot up the street buying the bottle before 6pm.

I played the game, killed it, but the mind fuck is I SHOULDA BEEN HAMMERED...but i was cool. More than cool, I was on my game, (sweating like an asshole and making maaad jokes) but i was cool.

Long story short we deaded 5 bottles by WED. and haven't looked back, I mean we had 3 bottles killed in 2 days (JUST SHOTS, and don't think for one second we weren't downing coronas, landsharks, and captain n cokes the entire time).

The question I'm trying to figure out is, does Patron get you drunk? (personally I think it makes you hallucinate)

At the end of the week, SAT - SAT we ate 7 bottles of Patron.

For those who missed it, WHAT THE FUCK?! For those who saw it, WHAT THE FUCK?!
Packed from wall to wall throughout the show performers tore the stage down while onlookers enjoyed an open bar of, what seemed to be fitting, Olde English, and ohhhh let me tell you, nothing helps to cool down that Brooklyn heat like some OE!
Tame could not be found, only seen, all over the place. Outside Inside Rightside Leftside! All while Drum & Knowledge (Parallel Thought) seemed to revisit their love for malt liquor.
Two highlights to the night:
1- TameOne giving us all a sneak peek into the new album that is AND sounds CRAZY! Seriously this project is some shitty, fuck your date into the wall, classic TAME, headrocking beats, dope shit.
2- Keith Murray absolutely destroying his set and some cute ass Italian chick, who after Keith brought on stage could not get her nipples to settle down LIVE N UNCUT! Relax and take notes, Keith showed us all why dude is still one of the best.

3- The crazy techno/house/trance room right next to the listening party. Some dope shit, room was muuuuuch cooler (temperature) and you could get a glimpse of some half-retarded looking weirdo’s dancing like they had hallucinogens pumping into them via iV. Shouts to Caness for his example of what NOT to try HAH (yes he tried).
Gotta throw a big shout to all the MCs/crew that came threw and rocked or just helped dent NYC’s OE supply with us
